Figure Drawing
In this class students will learn about figure drawing, or the art of drawing people. They will be learning about proportion and human anatomy while also growing their problem solving and critical thinking skills. Students will be able to draw people in a realistic and stylized way to convey meaning and prepare for high school art as well as analyze other figure works of art from artists such as Keith Haring, Gustav Klimt, Romare Bearden, Marcel Duchamp, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and many others.
