About the Director

Welcome to Liberty! My name is Jordan Gieske, and I'm the band director here!

 

I've lived in Bedford County for 21 years. I went through Cascade Elementary, Middle, and High School. I graduated Cum Laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Music Education. I taught at Bridgeforth Middle School in Pulaski, TN for a little over 2 and a half years. During that time, I also served as an assistant director to the Giles County High School marching and jazz bands. I started at Liberty and Harris in November of 2019, and I am incredibly thankful to finally be teaching in the county I live in.
